These Terms apply to the Pixie desktop app and this website. Pixie is sold and delivered through Steam, so the Steam Subscriber Agreement also applies. Contact: support@getpixie.app.
Buying Pixie on Steam gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it under Steam's rules. It is a one-time purchase and includes future updates.
You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the app or its files, sprites or sounds, and you may not copy or reproduce its code, characters, artwork, sounds or texts, by hand or with AI tools. Reverse engineering is allowed only to the extent the law of your country permits it. Showing Pixie in your own videos and streams is welcome: the Creator Policy sets out what is allowed.
The chat is generated by a language model that ships with Pixie and runs on your own computer. No API key, no account, no subscription, no usage cost. Pixie is an AI and not a human. Its replies can be wrong or odd; do not rely on them for medical, psychological, legal or financial decisions. Pixie is a companion toy, not an advisor or a crisis service: if you are in danger, call your local emergency number. How the chat handles safety is described in AI chat safety. The AI chat may not be suitable for some minors.
Clips you record, and anything you make with Pixie, belong to you. We have no access to them.
Valve handles every purchase and refund, so Steam's refund policy applies: you can request a refund for any reason within 14 days of purchase if you have used the product for less than 2 hours. Request it at help.steampowered.com; the current policy is at store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds and always takes precedence. If something is broken, please email us first — we would rather fix it.
Pixie is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If these Terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Changes do not take away rights for purchases already made.
