In short: the Pixie app sends nothing about you to us or to anyone else. Camera, microphone and chat are processed on your own computer. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The only personal data we ever see is what you choose to send us by email.
Pixie is made by Abdullah Sanberk EKER, who is the controller of the personal data described below ("we", "us"). Contact for anything in this policy, including your rights: support@getpixie.app.
Camera. Face mirroring and hand gestures are processed by on-device models while the camera is on. The picture is never saved and never leaves your computer. Pixie does not use it to identify you; it only reads the pose of your head, eyes, brows, mouth and hands.
Microphone and system sound. Lip sync and sound reactions only measure loudness and rhythm, live, on your computer. If you choose the "system" sound source, Pixie measures the loudness of what your computer plays in the same way. Nothing is recorded.
Clips. When you start a clip (🎬), Pixie records a video of the pet together with your microphone audio and the pet's sounds, and saves it as a file in your own Videos\Pixie folder. Your camera image is never part of a clip. The file stays on your computer; what you do with it is up to you.
Chat. The language model ships inside Pixie and runs on your computer; your messages are never sent anywhere. If you turn on Memory, the chat history and short memory notes are stored only on your computer. You can view and erase them in Settings. If a message mentions suicide or self-harm, Pixie shows crisis resources and does not save that exchange to memory (see AI chat safety).
Stream overlay. If you turn it on, the overlay is served only to your own computer (127.0.0.1) for your streaming software. Only the pet's pose goes to it.
No network connections. Pixie makes no internet connections: no telemetry, no crash reports, no analytics, no update checks of its own (Steam updates the game). Versions before 0.17.3 downloaded one file from Google's servers the first time they ran: a spell-check dictionary for your system language. That download showed your IP address and system language to Google but never anything you typed. Since 0.17.3, spell check is off and no dictionary is downloaded.
Where it is stored and how to delete it. Settings and, if Memory is on, chat history live in your user profile (%APPDATA%\pixie on Windows); clips live in Videos\Pixie. Settings → Chat & personality → "Forget everything" erases memory and history. Uninstalling Pixie does not delete these folders; you can delete them yourself at any time.
Steam. Pixie is sold, delivered and updated by Valve through Steam. Valve's privacy policy governs your Steam account, purchases and playtime. Pixie does not use the Steam API and does not receive any data from Steam.
This is a static page with no cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no embedded third-party content and no forms. It is hosted by Netlify, which, like any web host, processes your IP address and browser information in its server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure. We do not use those logs for anything else.
A "notify me" list collected before Pixie's release was closed at launch and has been deleted.
If you write to support@getpixie.app, we process your email address, your message and any attachments to answer you. Incoming mail is forwarded by Cloudflare (Email Routing) and stored in our Google (Gmail) mailbox; our replies are sent through Brevo, which may add a standard open-tracking pixel to outgoing mail. We do not use support mail for marketing and never add you to a mailing list. We keep a conversation for as long as needed to help you and delete it at the latest two years after the last message, unless the law requires otherwise.
We answer support email to fulfil your request and in our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f)). Website logs are kept in the host's legitimate interest in security. Netlify, Cloudflare and Google are based in the United States and Brevo in France, and may process data in other countries; we rely on their standard data protection terms for these transfers.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK, Türkiye or California) you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw consent. Write to support@getpixie.app; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority, kvkk.gov.tr). We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Pixie is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Pixie's AI chat may not be suitable for some minors.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.

İşlenen kişisel veriler ve amaç: Bize e-posta yazarsanız e-posta adresiniz ve mesajınız, talebinizi yanıtlamak için; web sitesi ziyaretinde barındırma sağlayıcısının sunucu kayıtları (IP adresi, tarayıcı bilgisi), siteyi sunmak ve güvenliğini sağlamak için işlenir. Hukuki sebep: KVKK m. 5/2-c (sözleşmenin kurulması/ifası) ve m. 5/2-f (meşru menfaat). Toplama yöntemi: e-posta ve site ziyareti (otomatik).
Aktarım: E-posta ve barındırma hizmetleri yurt dışında yerleşik sağlayıcılar tarafından verilir: Netlify, Cloudflare, Google (ABD) ve Brevo (Fransa). Veriler başka hiçbir kişiye aktarılmaz, satılmaz, pazarlama için kullanılmaz.
Saklama: Destek yazışmaları, son mesajdan itibaren en geç iki yıl sonra silinir. Lansman öncesi toplanan bildirim listesi silinmiştir.
Haklarınız (KVKK m. 11): verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bilgi talep etme, düzeltme, silme, aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri öğrenme, itiraz ve zararın giderilmesini isteme. Başvuru: support@getpixie.app (en geç 30 gün içinde yanıtlanır). Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu'na şikâyet hakkınız saklıdır.
