Creator Policy

Pixie was made to be on camera. If you make videos or stream, you are
welcome to use it, and you don't need to ask us first.
What you can do, free
- Show Pixie in your videos, streams, shorts, clips and screenshots, on
any platform.
- Use Pixie as your on-screen avatar or face cam: mirroring your face, in
the stream overlay, in the stream window, in a video call.
- Monetize that content: ads, subscriptions, memberships, donations, and
sponsorships of your own channel are all fine.
- Use frames of Pixie in your thumbnails, channel art and video titles,
and make emotes or badges of your Pixie for your own channel.
- Review, critique or make fun of Pixie. Honest is good.
Please use your own copy of Pixie from Steam. A link to the Steam page
(store.steampowered.com/app/5014840)
is appreciated, not required.
Ask us first
These are not refused by default; write to us and we will usually find a
way:
- Selling anything that features Pixie's characters: merchandise, prints,
stickers, plushies or digital goods.
- Using a Pixie character as the mascot, logo or spokes-character of a
business, brand, product or agency.
- Using Pixie in advertising for another product, beyond a sponsored
segment in your own content.
- Anything at a scale that feels like a business deal rather than a
channel.
Not allowed
- Redistributing, reuploading or selling the app itself, or its sprites,
sounds or files.
- NFTs, or using Pixie's characters, art or sounds to train AI models.
- Presenting Pixie's characters as your own creation, or suggesting we
sponsor or endorse you when we don't.
We also ask that you don't put Pixie in content that is hateful, sexual
or illegal. If we see that, we may ask you to remove Pixie from it.
What stays yours
Your face, your voice and your content belong to you. Pixie runs on your
computer and sends nothing to us, so we never see your camera or your
recordings. This policy gives you permission to use Pixie's characters; it
doesn't give us any rights to your videos.
Changes
We may update this policy. Content you published while an earlier version
applied stays allowed.
